The best option is to fly into Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (aka Liberia Airport, aka LIR). It’s about 2.5 hours from Nosara.

A few options here…

• Take the bus. Highly not recommended, but an option.

• Hire a service. We’ve used Limo Dan, but if you want to support your ticos, use Luis at Guiones Transports. It’ll be about $140 to get you to Playa Guiones- this includes the 13% tax and can be paid in US dollars. You send a picture of your arrival ticket and they’ll take care of the rest.
